But to give you an idea of where we are and how we got here, please read on…

Your Marketing Corner has been developed and refined since 2005. We began as an outsourced sales channel for internet brands such as Yahoo! and AOL, promoting internet marketing and advertising and educating small businesses on the importance of being found online. As we engaged and interacted with clients, we really began to understand their unmet needs to have an expert marketer in their corner who could help them plan, create, execute and manage integrated marketing efforts – a one-stop marketing shop. Partially for the sake of convenience, partially for the sake of cost, but mostly for the sake of communicating one message and leveraging the power of their local brand.

As a business owner, you should be free to focus on doing what you do best…running your business – not juggling the names and numbers of – and many different appointments with - the local printer, your newspaper ad contact, your print yellow page representative, your freelance designer.

You’ll have access to our broad and rich team experience: designers, technical developers, branding experts, and marketing strategy pros. It’s like having an entire marketing department, but only when you need them. A whole, well-versed, expert marketing team…without the payroll burdens.

We knew that the world of marketing, branding, PR and advertising was overly complex and needed to be simplified. We knew that the needs of the small to medium-size business market tended to go unmet. We gave local businesses seminars on Marketing 101 and Search Engine Marketing Basics – intending to provide 60-90 minute educational sessions…but attendees would still be there three hours later, asking questions about how to market and grow their business. And it hit us…replicate this low/no pressure, coaching environment as a walk-in store and be accessible to all businesses with marketing anxiety. That was the birth of the concept of your friendly, neighborhood marketing store. In fact, some of the early attendees at those events are still our customers today.

After lengthy testing, it was the launch of our first Your Marketing Corner store location early in 2007 that really charged our passion and reinforced our belief that control and decision-making needed to go back to the local business owner. You need to make fully-informed decisions as part of a comprehensive marketing strategy. And now we’re leading a revolution to do something about it!
